The Centre of Hope and the Family Resource Centre both have phone systems that offer a wide degree of options on how the phones work.
Full Extensions - These phones have a 4 digit extension number that matched the last 4 digits of a full phone number that can be used to dial from outside the building directly to that phone.
Internal Extensions - These are phones that just have a 4 digit extension number, but not an actual phone number. These phones cannot be called directly from outside the building. These phones can make outside calls.
Phones may also have restrictions on them. Restrictions would be used in cases of a public phone to prevent long distance dialing.
